ANNE MC CARTNEY AWS

I am a signature member of the American WatercolorSociety, Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolours, and the Transparent Watercolor Society of America have many affiliations with societies in both America and Canada
My inspirations come while traveling around the world or from the landscapes close to my home. I capture special moments with my camera and upon being reminded of what caught my eye at the time - the light, an architectural detail, or the posture or expression of a person –I recreate them in my studio.

Some recent honours include:
Recognition of work: publications in International Artist's Magazine, Watercolor Artist Magazine, Art of Watercolour Magazine, Artist Magazine and Splash: The Best of Watercolor Series (13,15,17,18, 20) and Practiques Des Arts.

Recent Awards: Gold medal of Honor (AWS), Winslow Homer Award (TSWA) Winsor Newton Award (CSPWC)


Recent international juried exhibitions include: American Watercolor Society, Transparent Watercolor Society of America, Shenzhen International Watercolour Biennial and travelling exhibition, Watercolor International and Watercolor Salon (Greece), IWS Canada, IWS Bulgaria, National Watercolor Society.

She was born in 1964 in Bartin city of Turkey.  She completed her undergraduate degree in Arts..  In 1989 she began working as an Art teacher in high school. After serving 20 years she was retired. Rukiye Garip has been working in her own studio for 7 years in Balıkesir. She also teaches the students of various age groups in this workshop studio.  She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions with her paintings of   various techniques.  The artist works on all painting techniques but prefers watercolor most. Because she thinks  that transparency and lights of watercolor reflects the beauties of nature better.

JIN LI

Jin Li, a professional Taiwanese watercolor artist, was born in China and works predominantly in the medium of watercolor painting. Currently teaching as an associate professor at Taiwan Hsuan Chuang University (HCU), Jin Li was also an associate professor at Hubei Academy of Fine Arts in Hubei Province, China. She serves as a committee member of Hubei Contemporary Watercolor Academy in charge of cultural affairs. Up to now, Jin Li has had 8 solo watercolor exhibitions and several group watercolor exhibitions in both China and Taiwan. Recently she has been frequently invited to participate in exhibitions even for the rest of the world. JANSEN CHOW AWS, NWS

Jansen Chow is a signature member of American Watercolor Society (AWS) and National Watercolor Society (NWS).  He won an art scholarship and studied in The Art Students League of New York, New York from 1994-1996 and he also a student of Mario Cooper, a great America Watercolor Master.  Jansen has held 16 solo art exhibitions and took part in more than 300 national and international watercolor exhibitions since 1992.  He has won more than 60 national & International awards in oil, watercolor, photography & etching since 1988 including receiving 1st place 9 times in watercolor competitions in the USA, Canada, Turkey & Malaysia. Recently he is IWS Malaysia Country Head,   FabrianoInAcquarello Malaysia Country Leader and the curator of “1st Malaysia International Watercolor Biennale 2018”.
