DONNA ZAGOTTA AWS, NWS

Active professionally for more than 20 years, Donna Zagotta is an internationally recognized painter, teacher, and juror. She is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society and the National Watercolor Society. 

Her paintings have evolved from an early emphasis on traditional watercolor techniques and traditionally influenced realism to an unconventional use of the watercolor medium and the exploration of that area that lies between realism and abstraction. 

Donna has a passion for art history with a special interest in Modernism and finds inspiration in the work of Edouard Vuillard, Henri Matisse, and Richard Diebenkorn, master painters who were more focused on expressing color and spatial ideas than on rendering the particulars of subject matter.

She was born in 1964 in Bartin city of Turkey.  She completed her undergraduate degree in Arts..  In 1989 she began working as an Art teacher in high school. After serving 20 years she was retired. Rukiye Garip has been working in her own studio for 7 years in Balıkesir. ROBERT WADE AWS

Born in Melbourne, Australia, 1930, the distinguished Australian artist, Robert A. Wade, has gained International acclaim. He has exhibited with most of the major Watercolour Societies in the World and won important awards in many countries. In 1986 he received the "Advance Australia Medal" for his outstanding contribution to Australian art, in 2003 he received the Medal of The Order of Australia for “his contribution to Watercolour as Artist, Educator and Promoter of Australian Art.” He was elected "Artist of the Year", Victorian Artists' Society, 1985 and 1986; in 1988 he received the "Winsor and Newton Australian Bi-Centenary Award for Watercolour". His work has received 13 Major overseas awards, in England, France and USA, plus 95 awards in Australia. JIN LI

Jin Li, a professional Taiwanese watercolor artist, was born in China and works predominantly in the medium of watercolor painting. Currently teaching as an associate professor at Taiwan Hsuan Chuang University (HCU), Jin Li was also an associate professor at Hubei Academy of Fine Arts in Hubei Province, China. She serves as a committee member of Hubei Contemporary Watercolor Academy in charge of cultural affairs. Up to now, Jin Li has had 8 solo watercolor exhibitions and several group watercolor exhibitions in both China and Taiwan. Recently she has been frequently invited to participate in exhibitions even for the rest of the world.
