ONG KIM SENG AWS DF, NWS

Ong Kim Seng BBM AWS DF NWS is a Singaporean artist Ong of international status.  He was President of the Singapore Watercolor Society from 1991 to 2001.  He is currently Honorary President, in which capacity he interacts with other watercolor organisations internationally.  

He has been an active member of the American Watercolor Society since 1990 and was the first Asian outside the U.S.A. to be awarded membership. Kim Seng was bestowed the Dolphin Fellowship of the AWS in 2000.


He has held more than twenty solo exhibitions at home and abroad , participated in numerous  joint exhibitions at home and abroad .  He has won eight awards from the American Watercolor Society (AWS), Silver Award from the all China watercolor exhibition 2004 , Fujian Province , Cultural Medallion from the Government of Singapore and the Public Service Star  (BBM) e.a.  

In 1991, he was awarded the Cultural Medallion for Visual Arts by the Ministry Of Information and the Arts, Singapore.  He won the Excellence for Singapore award presented by the Singapore Totalisator Board in 2000 , the Singapore Internationale by the Singapore International Foundation in 2001 and  the 2001 Arts Supporter Award presented by the National Arts Council. In 2004 he was conferred the Singapore National Day Award ,  the Public Service Star BINTANG BAKTI MASYARAKAT ( BBM) by the President of the Republic of Singapore , H.E. Mr S.R Nathan.

Judge for two international Biennale in the Shanghai Zhujiajiao International Watercolor Biennale , 2010 and 2012 .

ROBERT WADE AWS

Born in Melbourne, Australia, 1930, the distinguished Australian artist, Robert A. Wade, has gained International acclaim. He has exhibited with most of the major Watercolour Societies in the World and won important awards in many countries. In 1986 he received the "Advance Australia Medal" for his outstanding contribution to Australian art, in 2003 he received the Medal of The Order of Australia for “his contribution to Watercolour as Artist, Educator and Promoter of Australian Art.” He was elected "Artist of the Year", Victorian Artists' Society, 1985 and 1986; in 1988 he received the "Winsor and Newton Australian Bi-Centenary Award for Watercolour". His work has received 13 Major overseas awards, in England, France and USA, plus 95 awards in Australia. JANSEN CHOW AWS, NWS

Jansen Chow is a signature member of American Watercolor Society (AWS) and National Watercolor Society (NWS).  He won an art scholarship and studied in The Art Students League of New York, New York from 1994-1996 and he also a student of Mario Cooper, a great America Watercolor Master.  Jansen has held 16 solo art exhibitions and took part in more than 300 national and international watercolor exhibitions since 1992.  He has won more than 60 national & International awards in oil, watercolor, photography & etching since 1988 including receiving 1st place 9 times in watercolor competitions in the USA, Canada, Turkey & Malaysia. Recently he is IWS Malaysia Country Head,   FabrianoInAcquarello Malaysia Country Leader and the curator of “1st Malaysia International Watercolor Biennale 2018”.
