CHIAYEE LAM


Chiayee Lam is an award winning artist from Malaysia.

She has won many International watercolor awards like “North East Watercolor Society Excellent Award V” in 2017 NEWS 41st Annual International Exhibition in USA, “Honorable Mention Award” in 2017 Lushan International Watercolor Festival in China, “Diploma Award” in International Watercolor Festival Mini Castra 2018 in Slovenia and “Honorable Artist Award” in 2017 Kosovo International Watercolor Festival.

Chiayee was invited by Professor D.P. Mohanty to have her first solo watercolor exhibition in Faculty of Visual Arts, Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, India and her watercolor paintings were exhibited in more then 20 countries since 1996. She was invited as an International Watercolor Demonstration Artist in Fabriano, Urbino, Albania, Kosovo, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia. Her work has been selected in ‘2017-2018 Lushan International Watercolor Festival World’s Best Works Travel Exhibition’. Fabriano Watercolor Museum and Hanoi Museum of Vietnam has recently collected her work permanently.

Recently she is the Malaysia Curator of UrbinoInAcquarello 2018 and IWS Malaysia Co- Representative.

She was born in 1964 in Bartin city of Turkey.  She completed her undergraduate degree in Arts..  In 1989 she began working as an Art teacher in high school. After serving 20 years she was retired. Rukiye Garip has been working in her own studio for 7 years in Balıkesir. ROBERT WADE AWS

Born in Melbourne, Australia, 1930, the distinguished Australian artist, Robert A. Wade, has gained International acclaim. He has exhibited with most of the major Watercolour Societies in the World and won important awards in many countries. In 1986 he received the "Advance Australia Medal" for his outstanding contribution to Australian art, in 2003 he received the Medal of The Order of Australia for “his contribution to Watercolour as Artist, Educator and Promoter of Australian Art.” He was elected "Artist of the Year", Victorian Artists' Society, 1985 and 1986; in 1988 he received the "Winsor and Newton Australian Bi-Centenary Award for Watercolour". His work has received 13 Major overseas awards, in England, France and USA, plus 95 awards in Australia. JIN LI

Jin Li, a professional Taiwanese watercolor artist, was born in China and works predominantly in the medium of watercolor painting. Currently teaching as an associate professor at Taiwan Hsuan Chuang University (HCU), Jin Li was also an associate professor at Hubei Academy of Fine Arts in Hubei Province, China. She serves as a committee member of Hubei Contemporary Watercolor Academy in charge of cultural affairs. Up to now, Jin Li has had 8 solo watercolor exhibitions and several group watercolor exhibitions in both China and Taiwan. Recently she has been frequently invited to participate in exhibitions even for the rest of the world.
