KATHLEEN CONOVER AWS DF, NWS

Master Artist, Kathleen Conover exhibits her work, juries exhibitions, gives demonstrations and teaches in-depth workshops.  She has been juried into more than 200 exhibitions, receiving national and international recognition for the vision, innovative techniques, and fearless expression that give rise to her unique designs.  Painting with openness to her subject matter, she is guided by intense observation and deep personal reflection.  The result is rich symbolic layers of literal and figurative design.

Painting from an early age, Kathleen was influenced by teachers and artists in the fertile environment of Southern California’s prominent artists, museums and galleries as well as early international travels.  She studied undergraduate fine arts at San Diego State University, finished her Bachelor of Art degree at the University of Washington in Seattle and earned her Master of Arts degree from Northern Michigan University.   Continued study with American master watercolor artists over the next decade enriched her depth, understanding, skill and personal style of painting.

Kathleen Conover’s current involvement in the growing international watercolor scene includes invitations to exhibit, judge and demonstrate in China, Turkey, France, Belgium, Thailand and Greece.  She has been honored as one of the 40 international master watercolorists invited to exhibit at the first watercolor-exclusive museum in Qingdao, China, the “Birthplace of Watercolor”.  Global travel continues to influence her award winning paintings and inspires her work toward her lifetime pursuit “…to be a better artist”.

She was born in 1964 in Bartin city of Turkey.  She completed her undergraduate degree in Arts..  In 1989 she began working as an Art teacher in high school. After serving 20 years she was retired. Rukiye Garip has been working in her own studio for 7 years in Balıkesir. JIN LI

Jin Li, a professional Taiwanese watercolor artist, was born in China and works predominantly in the medium of watercolor painting. Currently teaching as an associate professor at Taiwan Hsuan Chuang University (HCU), Jin Li was also an associate professor at Hubei Academy of Fine Arts in Hubei Province, China. She serves as a committee member of Hubei Contemporary Watercolor Academy in charge of cultural affairs. Up to now, Jin Li has had 8 solo watercolor exhibitions and several group watercolor exhibitions in both China and Taiwan. Recently she has been frequently invited to participate in exhibitions even for the rest of the world. JANSEN CHOW AWS, NWS

Jansen Chow is a signature member of American Watercolor Society (AWS) and National Watercolor Society (NWS).  He won an art scholarship and studied in The Art Students League of New York, New York from 1994-1996 and he also a student of Mario Cooper, a great America Watercolor Master.  Jansen has held 16 solo art exhibitions and took part in more than 300 national and international watercolor exhibitions since 1992.  He has won more than 60 national & International awards in oil, watercolor, photography & etching since 1988 including receiving 1st place 9 times in watercolor competitions in the USA, Canada, Turkey & Malaysia. Recently he is IWS Malaysia Country Head,   FabrianoInAcquarello Malaysia Country Leader and the curator of “1st Malaysia International Watercolor Biennale 2018”.
