ONA KINGDON NWS, CSPWC

Ona Kingdon is an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour,  and a signature member of both the National Watercolor Society and the Transparent Watercolor Society of America.  She is also president of the Canadian Branch of the International Watercolor Society and is an IWS Globe Master Member.

Ona was selected as one to watch by the Watercolor Artist Magazine in 2012 and has since won numerous awards Internationally and has had her work published in several major magazines and books.

Ona loves to focus on feeling or emotion when creating art and enjoys painting or drawing any subject matter that has an emotive element to it.  Selecting a palette that is in keeping with the emotion or mood of each painting is also very important to her.

Ona is a qualified teacher with over 15 years experience working with both children and adults. She is passionate not just about painting but educating too. Her goal is to increase awareness about the diversity of watercolour as a medium, to show others that you can create any effect or style you want if you embrace its dynamic qualities. Ona offers on line individual tutoring in both watercolour and pen and ink and is also available to critique artwork. She does a limited number of workshops a year.

She was born in 1964 in Bartin city of Turkey.  She completed her undergraduate degree in Arts..  In 1989 she began working as an Art teacher in high school. After serving 20 years she was retired. JIN LI

Jin Li, a professional Taiwanese watercolor artist, was born in China and works predominantly in the medium of watercolor painting. Currently teaching as an associate professor at Taiwan Hsuan Chuang University (HCU), Jin Li was also an associate professor at Hubei Academy of Fine Arts in Hubei Province, China. She serves as a committee member of Hubei Contemporary Watercolor Academy in charge of cultural affairs. Up to now, Jin Li has had 8 solo watercolor exhibitions and several group watercolor exhibitions in both China and Taiwan. JANSEN CHOW AWS, NWS

Jansen Chow is a signature member of American Watercolor Society (AWS) and National Watercolor Society (NWS).  He won an art scholarship and studied in The Art Students League of New York, New York from 1994-1996 and he also a student of Mario Cooper, a great America Watercolor Master.  Jansen has held 16 solo art exhibitions and took part in more than 300 national and international watercolor exhibitions since 1992.  He has won more than 60 national & International awards in oil, watercolor, photography & etching since 1988 including receiving 1st place 9 times in watercolor competitions in the USA, Canada, Turkey & Malaysia. Recently he is IWS Malaysia Country Head,   FabrianoInAcquarello Malaysia Country Leader and the curator of “1st Malaysia International Watercolor Biennale 2018”.
